With sincere compassion and dedicated care, SJFC has been given the responsibility to announce that Miss Vera Marie Phillips laid down the cares of this world and entered into everlasting peace on February 16, 2024 at UNC Chapel Hill Medical Center. 

The services have been methodically arranged in an order that those special to Miss Phillips and her adored family can take part. Commencing on Saturday, February 24, 2024, between the moments of 10 am and 11 am, a time of visitation and reflection will be held in the sanctuary of the Greater Saints Chapel Baptist Church with the family present. A Loving Farewell Service will be called to order, following the visitation, at 11 am.

Interment will take place in the Rest Haven Memorial Gardens.
