Obituary
With consoling hearts, S. Jones F. and C. is assisting the precious loved ones of Mrs. Vernice Garrett Davis as they prepare to say “Farewell” to there precious jewel. Mrs. Davis laid down the cares of this world while resting in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family on August 21, 2023.
Services to Celebrate the Life of Mrs. Davis will begin with a visitation 6 pm - 8 pm, Saturday, August 26, 2023 in the Reposing Room of the S. Jones Funerals and Cremations where the family will be present to acknowledge friends and loved ones as they pay their respects.
A Service of Tribute and Honor for the Life of Mrs. Davis will be held 1:30 pm, Sunday, August 27, 2023 in the chapel of the S. Jones Funerals and Cremations.
Interment will take place in the New Life Church Cemetery.
Among her survivors are her children, Elliot Scott Davis and Tracie Davis, a bonus daughter, Brenda Boyd and a host of grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
