Mrs. Ricks passed away on January 15, 2026, at the UNC Nash Medical Center
Services to honor her life and legacy will begin with a public viewing from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 24, 2026, as she lies at the altar of the Light of Peace Baptist Church. Following the public viewing, a Celebration of Life will commence at 11:00 AM.
Committal Rites will take place at the graveside of the St. John Cemetery.
