Serving notice with heartfelt care and compassion, S. Jones F. and C. joins the family and loved ones of Mr. William Draughn, Sr. in honoring and celebrating his everlasting legacy. On May 7, 2026, Mr. Draughn peacefully transitioned into eternal rest at ECU Edgecombe Medical Center. As a man known for his gifted hands and warm spirit, he laid aside his fix-it tools and grilling utensils, leaving behind a legacy of love, hard work, and cherished memories.

The family has reserved Saturday, May 16, 2026, for friends and loved ones to gather and pay their respects during a visitation that will be held in the sanctuary of Red Hill Baptist Church from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. Following the visitation, a Celebration of Life service will begin at 1:00 p.m. as family and friends come together to honor and remember the life and legacy of Mr. William Draughn, Sr.

Mr. Draughn and his loving family will be escorted to the Red Hill Church Cemetery for Committal Rites.
