The book of Job declared, "The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away, blessed be the name of the Lord." It is with genuine sadness that SJFC announces the earthly departure of Mr. William Mack McKinley Nicholson Sr., affectionately called “McKinley”. Mr. McKinley moved into his new home, beyond the skies, January 28, 2024 at the Nash UNC Medical Center.

Precious moments have been scheduled, by his devoted family, beginning Saturday, February 03, 2024, between the hours of 5pm and 7pm, in the chapel of the S. Jones Funerals and Cremations. During this time, family and friends can gather to embrace each other as the healing process begins, while reflecting on everlasting memories of Mr. McKinley.

A Celebration of Life will be held 2 pm, Sunday, February 04, 2024 in the sanctuary of the St. Paul Baptist Church.

Mr. Nicholson will be laid to rest in the Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
