Mrs. Betty S. Pittman
Betty S. Pittman is the daughter of Mrs. Victoria Howington and the late Mr. Otto Lyons. She is the wife of Trustee Calvin J. Pittman and resides in Enfield, NC.
Betty graduated from T.S. Inborden High School, Enfield, NC. She is a Co-Founder of The Academy of Learning (Book Your Stay) in Enfield, NC, that serves as a reading center for youth.
Betty has three children; Kelvin, Michael, and Shanetta. She is the proud grandmother of 12 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Betty is a faithful member of First Baptist Church, where she serves as a Deaconess. She is also a member of the Greeters and Culinary Ministries.
Betty began serving the community at S. Jones Funerals and Cremations as a Grief Counselor, under the leadership of owners Deacon Shaun Jones and Apostle Patrick Avent, and she has serves in this capacity for six years.
Betty's hobbies include cooking, taking care of family, hosting family gatherings, meeting new people, decorating for Christmas, working in the community, and giving to others. She can be found catering local events through her very own, "Silver's Catering Services". She is well-known for her famous Honeybun Cake.
Betty's favorite scripture is Psalm 27, in its entirety. The Book of Job is, by far, her most studied scriptures. Her favorite song is, "You Are My Strength".
